Lusithand Alma Comp MK3 | Opto Bass Compressor Pedal

The Lusithand Alma Comp MK3 is an optical compressor designed specifically with bass players in mind, combining smooth compression with enough control to work with both passive and active instruments. Its internal voltage-doubling circuit provides up to 36V of internal operating voltage when powered from 18V, giving the pedal plenty of headroom for hotter bass signals.

The MK3 offers three selectable compression ratios, fast or slow attack, and a -6dB input pad for managing high-output instruments. The EQZ tilt control can be centered at either 900Hz or 250Hz, while the Clean control lets you blend the unaffected signal back into the compressed sound for parallel compression. The result is a versatile compressor that can even out dynamics while retaining the natural feel and clarity of the bass.
