The JAM Pedals Red Muck Bass is a dedicated bass fuzz-distortion pedal inspired by two legendary Muff circuits: the original 1971 Triangle Muff and the later Red Army/Civil War Muff. JAM Pedals combines elements of these classic designs with its own circuit modifications, resulting in a smoother response, fatter low end, more pronounced mids, and an expanded range of tonal control.

The Red Muck Bass features an onboard MIX control, allowing you to blend the dry and wet signals to find the ideal balance between your original bass tone and the fuzz. A second footswitch adds a second gain stage, giving the pedal two distinct levels of gain and making it possible to move from relatively subtle fuzz and vintage-style woolly tones to thick, saturated distortion and heavier sounds.
