The Idiotbox Effects Blower Box Deluxe takes the aggressive character of the original Blower Box and refines it with a tighter, more mid-focused voice and a parallel clean signal blend. Designed with bassists in mind, it allows you to retain and shape your direct low end while adding substantial distortion, making it possible to create everything from focused overdrive to high-gain, heavily saturated bass tones. The clean signal features its own 150Hz–10kHz low-pass filter, giving you precise control over how much of the unprocessed bass signal sits underneath the distortion.
The Blower Box Deluxe features independent controls for the direct signal, clean-signal filtering, distortion EQ, gain, and output. DIR controls the direct signal volume, PASS adjusts the direct signal low-pass filter, HIGH and LOW shape the distortion EQ, while DIST controls distortion intensity and VOL sets the distorted signal volume. The pedal can operate at 9V, 12V, or 18V DC, allowing you to choose the amount of available headroom and response.
