Garda Benaco Elite Bass
The star of NAMM was without question this bass from Italy, a work of art equaled only by it’s amazing sound and playability. The fine luthiers of Garda have brought this incredible bass back to the US after a full rebuild ensuring it’s perfect condition and finish.
This groundbreaking instrument includes innovations such as their unique, one of a kind through body bridge system that ensure astoundingly accurate intonation with fantastic resonance and tension. Layered body openings create an instrument that sings both acoustically and plugged in. Truss rod adjustments are made through a hole conveniently place in the heel plate eliminating the need for removing the neck, headstock truss rod covers, marring the body paint while wedging in a wrench or stripping out the rod end.
The stunning sound is provided by two Delano SBC 4 pickups with a Delano Sonar pre-amp controlled by a lit push button that provides that foolproof visual indicator.
A custom hard case is included although it was damaged during shipping (see photos). Fortunately the case did it's job and the instrument arrived without any damage. An allowance has been made in the price so that the buyer can acquire a case of their choosing.
