The FKT Audio The Fretless is designed specifically around the frequencies and characteristics that make a fretless bass sound its best. It combines a precision midrange EQ with chorus and reverb, giving you a way to shape the core tone while adding the modulation and ambience that can really bring fretless (and fretted!) playing to life.
The EQ section lets you cut or boost the midrange from 500Hz to 1kHz, with the BELL control adjusting the bandwidth of the filter. On the other side, the chorus and reverb can be used independently or together, so you can run chorus by itself, add some reverb, or combine both for a more spacious, three-dimensional sound.
