The EICH T1000 Black Edition is a compact 1000-watt bass head built for players who want serious power without carrying a large amplifier. Its dual Class-D power amps deliver 500 watts per channel at 2 ohms, or 1000 watts in bridged mode at 4 ohms, giving it plenty of flexibility for different cabinet setups.
Designed by industry veteran Thomas Eich, these amplifiers prioritize a clean, neutral, and high-fidelity sound. They do not artificially color your sound, allowing the natural acoustic character of your specific bass guitar and pedalboard to come straight through.
When you do want to tune your tone, there’s a four-band EQ which includes switchable Bass and High Boosts, an adjustable compressor with selectable attack time, and a dedicated second channel with a 200 Hz low-pass filter and +12 dB Sub-Boost.
The EICH Taste control goes even further giving you a wide range of tonal shaping without making the amp complicated to use. Turn it left for a drier, tighter tone, or to the right for warmth, fatness, and a more vintage saturation.
A transformer-balanced pre/post DI with ground lift, parallel effects loop, tuner and line outputs, headphone and AUX inputs, and three speaker outputs make it equally suited to live rigs, recording, and larger multi-cabinet setups. At just over 5 pounds, it's an unusually powerful amp to carry to a gig. Handmade in Germany.
