EICH BassBoard S | Bass Subwoofer Floor Monitor & Tactile Bass System
The EICH BassBoard S is a different kind of bass monitor. Instead of simply putting more sound into the room, it lets the player feel the low end through the floor using an integrated TS400 transducer. This is especially useful with in-ear monitors, where the detail and clarity can be great but some of the physical connection to the bass can be missing.
The BassBoard S works as a standalone tactile subwoofer for the stage, rehearsal room, studio, or home. Its extremely low-noise design and decoupled baseplate help keep unwanted vibration from being transferred into the floor, while the compact design makes it easy to incorporate into a playing setup. It can be driven by an EICH T-500 or T-900, or used with a conventional bass amplifier and cabinet.
For bassists who want to feel their instrument as well as hear it, the BassBoard S is a very interesting piece of gear. It brings some of the physical response of a traditional bass rig back to setups that rely heavily on headphones or in-ear monitoring, while also offering a practical solution for players who want more tactile feedback when practicing or recording.
