The Dunable R2 DE Bass brings the aggressive R2 shape and long-scale feel of Dunable's USA instruments into the more accessible DE series. This Matte Black Swamp Ash version pairs a swamp ash body with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard, finished in a thin matte black finish that leaves the wood's grain and feel noticeable under the finish.

The 35" scale and dual Dunable P-style pickups give the R2 a solid, focused low end with plenty of output, while the two-volume/one-tone control layout keeps the electronics straightforward. A high-mass string-through bridge, lightweight open-back tuners, Luminlay side dots, and a hard case round out a bass that's built with heavier music and extended-range-style playing in mind.
