Alusonic Django Standard 5 CS - Black

$2,749.00

The Alusonic Black Django Standard 5 CS is a modern 5-string that manages to combine a familiar, comfortable feel with some very interesting tonal options. The matte black finish and matching hardware give it a clean, understated look, while the hard maple neck and fretboard add a nice visual contrast. At an average of just 7.9 lbs, it's also an unusually comfortable 5-string for players who spend long hours rehearsing, recording, or playing live.

The real attraction is the combination of an Alusonic Alnico 5 humbucker at the bridge and Alnico 5 single-coil at the neck, paired with an active preamp and 5-way selector. That gives the Django considerably more tonal range than a typical two-pickup 5-string, making it easy to move from focused, punchy sounds to fuller and more rounded tones. The 34" scale and custom C/V neck profile also give it a familiar playing feel without making the instrument feel oversized or cumbersome.

For players looking for a lightweight, professional 5-string with a lot of tonal flexibility, the Black Django 5 CS is a compelling choice. It has the versatility to cover a wide range of styles while still feeling like a carefully considered instrument rather than another generic production-line bass.
